Kameisha Presley is an Associate Attorney at Owenby Law, P.A. who focuses
her practice on representing men, women, and families throughout northeast
Florida in matters involving family law, bankruptcy, foreclosure defense,
and criminal traffic violations. Prior to joining the Owenby Law legal
team, Kameisha owned and operated her own law firm representing clients
in a range of matters and venues, including depositions, mediations, 341
creditor meeting hearings, dissolutions of marriage actions, and foreclosure
During her time as a solo practitioner, Kameisha developed a passion for
giving back to the local community and legal profession. She devoted her
time and resources to supporting the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid Pro Se
Litigants Clinic and accepting cases involving domestic violence on behalf
of clients in need. She also served as an admissions counselor with Florida
Coastal School of Law, where she organized events and outreach initiatives
for the general public and next generation of legal minds. Her volunteer
work also includes support for the Clara White Mission Center, Sulzbacher
Center, and the Family Nurturing Center.
Kameisha earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies and Political
Science from Georgia Southern University before earning her Juris Doctorate
from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received the Pro Bono Honors
Award. Since being sworn into the Florida bar, she has been a committed
and zealous advocate for families facing challenging and unfamiliar legal
proceedings. Kameisha is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts
and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.
