Christina L. Wilford is an Associate Attorney at Owenby Law, P.A. who focuses
her practice on family law and providing men and women across the region
with zealous representation during divorce and post-divorce matters, including
child custody, modifications of court orders, and more. Her experience
and her passion for providing the client-focused support and counsel clients
need during difficult times allows her to establish close working relationships
and secure successful outcomes.
Prior to joining Owenby Law, P.A., Christina was an Associate Attorney
for a law firm in Tennessee known for its family law services. It was
there that she cultivated considerable experience handling a wide range
of family law matters, from divorce and disputes to adoptions and mediation.
She also gained experience in matters involving immigration, juvenile
law, and criminal defense.
Christina earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal studies from the University
of Central Florida in Orlando prior to attending Florida Coastal School
of Law in Jacksonville, where she earned her law degree. While in law
school, she served as a Certified Legal intern for a Family Law Clinic,
where she was responsible for managing clinic cases at various stages
of litigation, drafted family law pleadings, and mediated cases.
Christina has been trained in methods of alternative dispute resolution
and mediation, which can provide an efficient and effective option for
divorcing spouses to reach amicable resolutions outside of the courtroom.
She is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association,
and is fluent in English and Spanish.
