Lindsey Fields, Senior Associate Attorney Lindsey Fields is a Senior Associate Attorney at Owenby Law, P.A. who represents clients across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida in matters involving divorce; property division; custody, visitation and support matters; post divorce modification and enforcement matters; premarital agreements; protective orders; military law; and, estate planning.

A former Prosecutor who has practiced in Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, and now Florida, Lindsey has broad experience handling complex cases. She is also experienced in military law, allowing her to provide insightful representation to local service members and military families who have unique considerations when it comes to estate planning, military divorce, child custody, and other family law matters.

Following law school, Lindsey served as a Volunteer Attorney at the Legal Aid of East Tennessee, where she handled divorce cases, orders of protection, and detainer cases before becoming a prosecutor. Lindsey went on to serve as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Norfolk, Virginia and later served as an Assistant District Attorney in Athens, Georgia. As a prosecutor, Lindsey handled felony cases, such as homicides, robberies and thefts and narcotic crimes, from preliminary hearings to appeal.

In her practice, Lindsey places an emphasis on providing personalized and passionate support. She establishes close-working relationships with her clients, takes the time to explain the legal issues pertinent to their cases, and provides thoughtful insight about their available options. With her background as a former prosecutor, Lindsey helps clients reach amicable resolutions outside of the courtroom while still maintaining the adaptability and persuasiveness to litigate at trial when necessary.
