Jelisa Hall

Jelisa Hall is an Associate Attorney at Owenby Law, P.A., who is known for her detail-oriented approach to casework. Her clients know her as a communicative active listener who genuinely wants to help them through tough times and complicated cases.

Jelisa is a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a B.S. in Psychology and Family and Child Sciences. She completed her J.D. at Florida Coastal School of Law.

When Jelisa’s interest in the law was sparked many years ago, she knew she was destined to become a lawyer. Her work ethic and commitment to achieving great goals helped her finish her J.D. and start her legal career as soon as she could. Today, she takes genuine pride in helping clients through difficult moments that had once felt insurmountable without the help of a lawyer. Currently, she is in the process of becoming a Guardian ad Litem, so she can represent young children in family law courtroom procedures and trials.

Most of Jelisa’s childhood was experienced on Naval bases in Virginia, Florida, Japan, and Italy because her father was in the U.S. Navy. Once she resettled in Florida in 2012, it felt like a home that she had never even left. In her spare time, she likes to enjoy movies, music, singing, and the many community events that can be found throughout Florida.
