Micah Nihart

Micah Nihart is an Associate Attorney with Owenby Law, P.A. in Jacksonville, Florida. A natural problem-solver, Micah likes to help people however he can, which is why he decided to become a lawyer. The law is confusing to most people, but he can help his clients understand it.

Micah graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Political Science before going to Florida Coastal School of Law to complete his J.D.

In addition to family law, Attorney Nihart is knowledgeable about personal injury and estate planning. Both practice areas can come in handy for complex family law and divorce cases, such as those involving valuable shared estates or domestic violence. He approaches family law cases with openness and honesty, so his clients can trust him faster, but also uses the intensity and focus of a litigator, which he learned while handling personal injury lawsuits. After all, trust is an important part of any family law attorney-client relationship because the subject matter of the case or lawsuit is so personal. He has been through the family court process himself, so he knows what to expect and what they’re going through.

Throughout his life, Micah has lived in a few different states. He was born in Philadelphia, moved to Virginia, and landed in Florida for law school, where he wanted to begin his legal career. When he isn’t working, he often spends time listening to music, painting, and playing video games, board games, card games—all kinds of games.
