About
Jasmine Jenkins is a dedicated attorney based in Jacksonville, Florida, with experience in personal injury, family law, and criminal defense.
Originally born in a small town in Pennsylvania and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jasmine has proudly called Jacksonville home for more than a decade. Her desire to become an attorney began at a very young age, and with steadfast determination, she pursued that dream without hesitation.
Jasmine earned her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, where she was a multiple-time Dean’s List honoree. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she was actively involved as a member of the Mock Trial Team, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and as a Student Ambassador.
Before passing the Bar Exam, Jasmine gained invaluable hands-on litigation experience clerking for a private law firm focused on family law and criminal defense. In that role, she assisted with trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations, further solidifying her passion for advocacy.
As a licensed attorney prior to joining Owenby Law, Jasmine dedicated her practice to personal injury matters, successfully resolving hundreds of cases for deserving clients. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and client-centered approach, she advocates with empathy and care through every stage of a case.
Jasmine is an active member of the legal community, serving as Financial Secretary of the Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association, and is a proud member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association, Jacksonville Justice Association, and Florida Justice Association. In recognition of her work, she was honored as a 2025 recipient of The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
Outside the office, Jasmine enjoys staying active in the gym, exploring Jacksonville’s vibrant food scene, planning her next travel adventure, and spending quality time with friends and family.
