Alexandria Mederos exemplifies what it means to be an associate attorney
“to watch” while she is on-the-rise in her professional career.
Receiving her Florida Juris Doctor and Certificate in Family Law from
Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, she has already built a
strong reputation for herself, having been a Pro Bono Honors Recipient
on the dean’s list. She attended the University of North Florida
for her B.A. in Political Sciences, cum laude. While working towards her
J.D., Alexandria stayed busy with an extensive variety of legal and professional
activities, workshops, and societies. To name only a few of these activities,
she was involved with the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers
as a scholarship recipient, the Florida Family Law Inns of Court as a
student member, the Family Law Society President, and a participant in
the Human Rights Law Society.
As someone who always knew she wanted to play an integral role in a prestigious
law firm like Owenby Law, P.A., Ms. Mederos has been a part of the legal
profession for years and to many extents. She held a position at a tax
service firm, where she was tasked with managing more than 40 highly-complex
corporate accounts. She would be employed at the Office of the Public
Defender, Fourth Judicial Circuit Jacksonville, Florida Felony Division
as a legal intern who interviewed felony division clients. She would later
hold positions as a law clerk, student-worker, senior clinician, and a
legal intern for a number of schools and respected law offices within
the Florida region. All of her work experience throughout the years has
cemented her as an up-and-coming associate attorney.
When not in our law office or working on a case by the light of the midnight
oil, Alexandria loves to give back to her communities and help people
in need. She has played a part in supporting the Daniel Memorial, Jacksonville
Kids Coalition, Habitat for Humanity, and Missing Link of Jacksonville,
Inc. She has even dedicated some of her free time to Ask-A-Lawyer, where
she proves her legal insight to inquiring parties.
If you require legal assistance with a family law dispute or divorce case
of your own, you should feel free to contact our law firm and ask to schedule
a case evaluation with Associate Attorney Alexandria Mederos.
